The Freedom Assembly Chapel Int. at Agona Swedru in the Central Region will on December 4 this year organize a special buffet treat for widows, orphans and underprivileged children within the Swedru township and its environs.
This was disclosed by the founder and General Overseer of the Church and Chief Executive Officer [CEO] of PARKLAIN Supermarket, Prophet Stephen Kojo Okyere during a sermon over the weekend.
According to him, about five hundred widows and orphans have already been identified and selected to participate in the occasion.
He said as part of the Church’s social responsibility, the aged and orphans will also be presented with other items including some amount of money to support their daily lives.
The celebration coincides with the Church’s 1st Anniversary celebration as well as the birthday of its founder, Prophet Stephen Okyere.
