Israeli Ambassador Visits Takoradi Port

The Israeli Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Ami Mehl as part of his familiarization tour of the Western Region visited the port of Takoradi to familiarize himself with operations at the Port.

Accompanied by his wife and his Economic and PR teams, they were taken through the port’s operations and the expansion project which is currently underway.

The Ag. Port Operations Manager of Takoradi Port, Richard Acquah expressed, GPHA’s preparedness to partner Israeli companies to improve all facets of the port operations.

His Excellency Ami Mehl welcomed the idea with strong emphasis on the need for the port to upgrade security systems especially with the rise in terrorist activities in the sub-region.
