The Steering Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has settled on Sunday, October 9, 2016, as the date on which it intends to launch its 2016 manifesto.
In a statement signed by acting General Secretary John Boadu, the party said the manifesto contains the solutions the party and its flag bearer Nana Akufo-Addo have to the many problems facing the country, “including how to resolve the unemployment problem among young Ghanaians”.
The decision was taken at a meeting held by the Steering Committee of the party on Monday, September 26, 2016,.
The manifesto launch will be held at the forecourt of the Accra International Trade Fair Centre and chaired by former President John Kufuor.
According to the party, the launch would be followed later in the afternoon by a major political rally, which will be opened to all supporters and members of the general public.
