‘Peace Must Reign In Ghana’ – Apostle Asante Declares

… As He Leads Serious Prayer Session For Ghana

As the people of Ghana prepare to go to the poll on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, the Adom Revival Ministry has held a powerful prayer session for Peace to prevail during the electioneering period.

The prayer session which, according to the Founder and Head Pastor of the Ministry, Apostle Ebenezer Asante, has become necessary because Ghana has been led backwards for far too long and the time has come for the people of Ghana to stand up in prayers, and cry unto the Lord to bring a Saviour who is the divine leader.

He said until the people of Ghana stand up in prayer and cry to God, God would not come down. “We need peace in Ghana, and the devil is using all means possible, using our own leaders against us. Look we have to break all evil towers, destroy all the enemy strongholds for peace to reign,” he said.

Apostle Ebenezer Asante was giving a sermon on Sunday when the Church set aside the day to pray for peace for Ghana.

He indicated that, Ghanaians have the power to bring peace in Ghana, and that peace can only come through prayers and not through any promises from a politician.

According to him, Ghana has experienced several injustices with its attendant corruption engaged in by our leaders, poverty and wanton dissipation of national coffers to the detriment of the ordinary Ghanaian whilst they find it difficult to even pay school fees, hospital bills and even make a living.

He said, the people of Ghana have been living under leaders who are not thinking about the welfare of citizens but think about their own stomachs, “We must shout, cry, weep to our Lord for peace and that peace will ensure growth and development in Ghana,” he said.
“We want people who can lead Ghana and God is the answer for if Ghana prospers, the people will prosper. The growth of the nation is the prosperity of its people,” he said.

He averred that corruption has indeed drawn Ghana backwards and it seems there is very little our leaders are doing to salvage the situation because if measure are taken to stop the act of corruption, they, the leaders themselves would not have the opportunity to loot the public purse hence their inability or refusal to dip the menace in the bud.

Apostle Ebenezer Asante said people have been hired, some are undergoing training in how they can cause confusion, intimidate others, and even shed blood only for their pay masters to be in power, saying that, that is not Godly and that the time has come for the people to look up to God to intervene.

He however called on all well-meaning Ghanaians to seek solace in the Scriptures, Job 36: 18 “For let not wrath stir thee up against chastisements; Neither let the greatness of the ransom turn thee aside,” so that they can resist any evil machinations that people might plot against them on the day of voting.

He said there would be snatching of ballot boxes, provocations, and intimidation from opposing parties but as people of God who have the faith that God will make a difference for peace to prevail, they must not engage in any confrontations but walk away from such troubles for God has done it already.

Adding his voice to the message of the day, a visiting man of God, Pastor Kwadwo Agyekum of the New Ebenezer Temple Church thanked God for making the day possible and indicated that though this year’s election would be an extraordinary one, the hand of the Almighty God will prevail at the end.

He said God has already chosen a leader for Ghana and the time has come, no matter what the evil one will plan, Ghana will win and God’s chosen will ascend the throne to the Glory of God and growth of Ghana.

“We have seen elections in the past, but this one is going to be different. Why? Because look our leaders don’t think about us and our future, so this time God is going to do wonderful things in our history. Jesus has won and Ghana has already won.” He said.
