The Public Relations Officer of the Concern Youth of Kpone, Emmanuel Nortey has issued an unconditional apology to the council of State member, Adjei Annang for grossly disrespecting and issueing vague threats to the senior statesman.
According to the PRO, he together with some other angry residents of kpone unleashed their anger on the council of state member for allegedly involving himself in the affairs of the installation and destoolment of the kpone Chief fisherman saga.
According to Mr Nortey, his unfortunate comments where he accused the council of state member was done out of ignorance and regrets his utterances.
“ It is unfortunate I made such irresponsible statements that were derogatory against the council of state member Adjei Annang on the day of our mini protest against the chief fisherman. I sincerely apologize and promise never to repeat same moving forward in future”
Mr Nortey pleaded with the council of state member to forgive him and pardon him as such incident will not repeat itself.
Mr Nortey together with some residents of kpone in the Kpone Katamanso constituency accused the senior statesman for meddling in some chieftaincy matters in the area.
The youth however unleashed their anger on the senior statesman where they threatened him not to step foot at kpone since he was condoning illegality.
